Self

Last summer I discovered that gesso on brown paper bag is incredibly satisfying for some reason. It absorbs it well, or something, so I cut up a bunch of paper bags and glued them into a sketchbook and used that to play around, and then a few months ago, I realized that they sell pads of the stuff. I wanted to paint this picture that I had of myself, and that's all I had to paint on, so here you go. The black is acrylic paint... I didn't like that very much. I think India ink would be better.
